Going To Get Back Into It

I wanted to start this 'come back' blog with pictures, apologies, and updates for everyone as to why I haven't updated this in ages. But, as I seem to have no time in the evenings but time in work, I thought I would update it right now. So no pictures. Sorry!

Anyway, I am SO sorry for not being around - I haven't even really had a chance to comment or read other 'personal' blogs - but I am getting back into the swing of things. My real problem has been June was a VERY busy month for me. And I also find that I keep taking things on when I really shouldn't.

But I am getting organised. For example, last night I was supposed to meet my friend for coffee after my physio - but I had a handful of things that had to get done (cancel a credit card, write a long-overdue letter, sort out bills, package up ebay stuff) and I just had to reschedule. I hate doing that to friends, but I realised that I am getting more and more knackered by the end of the day! Especially with me getting up at 6am every day to exercise - and that, at the moment, is almost number one on my priority list.

So, I am not going to pretend that I will update this every day - I won't. But I will continue to update as much as I can. My DF'82 blog is priority over this one, however. BUT I will definitely comment and read all the other Team Voice blogs every day! That is my aim now! And it's something I can do at work, so I have no excuse :).

On the exercise note, yesterday was another physio appointment and it seems like my hip had gone out of alignment again! The IT band is loosening up - yay! - and I'm not getting pain in my running, but I am getting knee pain doing almost everything else! :S If I had to describe it, I'd say it felt like my knee was trying to move to the right place, and that's what's causing pain. So I have another appointment in 3 weeks time, some exercises to do and some 'tests' to see if the hip or the foot is causing the knee pain!

Okay, I am off to check up with all of YOU! I won't be able to comment on every post, but I will be reading. I PROMISE! I've missed you guys! :)

Glad to hear you're still working out and taking care of you. That's most important.

You just have to love how exercise can cause us more pain than those that don't do it.... Totally counterintuitive! ha!

Glad to hear that you're making some progress though, it'll get better over time, just stick to it. :-)

What's that behind you? A radio tower? ;-)b

So sorry to hear you have injuries! Hang in there. And we've all dropped in and out of communication during the last year. The important thing is to drop back in!
